Now I don't use TOR, I could never get it to install right years ago. But I think that finding a proxy, a computer on the system that is working, not too slow, or just one that is setup right this particular day, that's what the "game" is all about. You get what you pay for. I used earlier onion systems years ago ("Cypherpunk" anonymous remailers) and it was always the fickle, temporary nature of the volunteer nodes (middlemen) that was the real challenge. No solutions, but I am sure those who use TOR can fill you in. |
