I don't know how much you all believe in freedoms there in Canada, but on this side of the border the men in blue are going to have to get the Constitution changed before they can restrict anonymity (see Thomas Paine, 1776), either that or use the "rubber hose" method of self-incrimination to make their jobs super-easy. Of course do what you have to do. Coming after you, of all people, will have no effect on people using encryption. I guess education is a low priority in Canada as well. The desire for privacy should not be an assumption of wrong-doing. These are locals, right? Encouraged by local elected officials? What a crock... |
