It seems that suddenly so many of us are either passing on or very close to doing so. Bill Evans, who was a good friend, was a serious blow. Movieman, more recently. Looks as if I'm close to next. (Forget the platitudes that I could live for another decade; theory is theory and reality is reality.) So far I'm still slowly recovering from the blood transfusions and, to make it worse, my local caregiver is sick this week. Grrr... As for those at a distance, one old, one young; the older one has a lot more experience with life and understands better, the younger one is very easy to love.
