The cause is not determined for sure, but it is probably some bleeding from the cancer that is slowly growing in the area of my liver and lungs. For the moment the symptoms should be controllable; what comes later comes later. It is taking quite a long time to recover properly; still have a lot of pain (with occasional bouts of freedom) and little energy. For example, I'm unable to even bend down and replace a burned power bar that did not survive a storm last week, and it's in plain view on an open floor! So I'm doing without any of my movies and videos until I can persuade someone to visit, which might take days or weeks. On the other hand, I've had a couple of good naps today and found some freedom from pain that way. But at this point life holds very little for me, and it won't take much more to reduce that to zero. There are one or two people who are helping (by their care and attention, even though it is at a distance) to keep me alive. You, KRB, are one of them. Another is much younger than either of us, even though probably as intelligent as both of us put together, and I still can't get over the fact that he's chosen ME to love out of all the unhealthy misfits in the world! So far, so good, but no one should assume that either or even both of these factors are really enough on which to base a life. Pain trumps, remember that. Pain ALWAYS trumps. Nothing else is even CLOSE to being a factor in my life at the moment. Wish me luck. I suppose miracles are still possible. Somersault
