...let me know, okay? Michael is 9yo and is starting to ask some questions just like that one. Although, on a more basic level, my dog's vet once told me that this activity was due to the fact that there are scent glands located there. Those are identifying factors for the dogs, so they are each checking out the other. Apparently, dogs mark their territory with poop as well as pee... ...although I still think my dog had a 10 gallon bladder, considering the way he would mark just about every tree and bush in the park, the neighborhood, and any other place we would walk. /s/ good luck to you |
