Monday???? again ----

Thats what the Tiger growled at me as I patted his little butt to wake him for another school day. "M" he groaned -- what happened to the week end? I know Tiger - these Mondays are always popping up. So hit the floor or you will be late for school. It is rather comical to stand and watch the Tiger roll out of bed. First - his right foot slowley pulls out from the cover - down towards the floor - he shudders as said foot comes in contact with floor. Then the left foot follows. He stands, rocking back and forth, scratching his little butt and a big yawn. Then the message hits real hard. He grabs his little appendage and dashes for the bath room. As the Tiger finishes his bath room chores, goes to his room and dresses while I'm down in the kitchen starting breakfast. One of the Tigers favorites -- oats, sweetened with brown sugar, seasoned with a lump of butter and bacon cooked to a crisp and toast. I look up -- there stands the Tiger, glowing in all his boyish beauty. A teasing smile on his lips, brown eyes sparkling. His hair soaked with water to get all the yukey waves out. Soon as it dries it will go back to its natural boy style. Then once again -- out to the ole Ford. Crank up the engine -- it sputters, coughs then levels off to a happy chuckle. Its favorite passanger is there, the Tiger. So starts another week -- as I pick up the Tiger from school he asks the same question every evening --- "M" IS IT FRIDAY YET? Bless his little heart -- his world is made up of week ends and summer vacation from school. One of these days I will have to break the news to him -- Tiger -- theres a world out there.
