I've had the wind all weekend

Nope havent been eating too much chilli, just talking about the weather. The tiger would have loved the rain we had Thursday night and Friday morning, about 5 inches in all. Can just see him out there splashing around in it. Saturday was an over cast day where the wind gradually got stronger as the day wore on and made it difficult to play my normal lawn Bowls but still managed a win, slow wet green, wind and all. Today, Sunday we had a lovely sunny day and I had promised my daughter to go to the beach but boy was the wind blowing a gale. We ummed and ahhed but eventually drove down there but it was very rough and a swear some of the waves were mini tsunamis so we both chickened out of going in and just admired the tigers etc that were swimming in the sheltered lagoon. Just bet the tiger would have wanted to go in the real waves and not that sissy ole lagoon. Well home again and looking forward to some home made hot dogs for dinner and I am certain the tiger could murder a few of those. Sorry your weekend looked so bleak M but I am even more glad that we wont see any snow here, not unless hell freezes over too. Catch ya DU. |
