School time again ----

Grams is back from her two months tour of Europe and visting her ken folk. Tiger was happy to see her but grumbled that he wanted to stay with me all this school term. Grams said she would think about it - since she had brought back with her one of her great grand dughters to due a hitch of U.S. schooling. The grand daughter will be twelve in a couple months and will be in 6th grade this school term. Grams finely agreed to it, so the Tiger will spend the whole school term with me this fall and winter. Of course the Tiger and I live a few miles outside of city limits on a few acres of wooded property. So I let the Tiger dress as comfortable as he wanted. In cut off kakies from last year. Sometime he couldn't get them to button so he would zip up the zipper as far as he could and lock it in place. In the evening time after the evening meal was over he would take a shower and wear one of my T-shirts. He looked like a little ghost floating around the house. The other evening I told him we were going to have to make a trip to town and see about getting him some school clothing. Oh no - he grumbled - you mean I will have to start wearing clothes again. Yup - I told him, don't think the school will let you wear just a T-shirt. So yesterday - set him down on a tall kitchen stool and cut his hair. Good grief Charlie - my names not Charlie he informed me. OK-OK good grief Tiger its a shame to waist all that hair when I could use some of it on top of my head. The Tiger giggles - Nope he says --I like my "M" the way he is. The Tigers hair is just a bit wavey when I let it grow out more than usual. Tiger doesn't like it wavey. Says people thinks he is a girl. So I usually cut it to where it combs with a part in the middel. With brown eyes and when the sun gleams off his hair just right you can see a bit of red sheen - otherwise it is mostly light brown. All in all - he's my handsome Tiger. About the middel of next week the Tiger and I will make a trip to town to get his school clothing. The Tiger is not really happy about it but guesses he can put up with it.
