Hi Jethro, and an explanation for all.

When I saw the cogs clamp down on Jethro on BC, I thought I'd let him air his grievances here, largely because I, too, was banned from SafeHaven for the cardinal sin of posting something ADMIN disagreed with. I should note that Tuhther (who runs SH) and I are actually real-life acquaintances (and on very friendly terms), but I'm still banned. This dates from ages ago when the Devon and Steven fiasco was in full swing. I posted something about "them" on SH, and apparently my point of view differed from Tuhther's, and suddenly I was banned. (For those who know naught about Devon and Steven, they were supposedly a couple of boys with terribly melodramatic lives; near fatal conditions, beatings, etc., but turned out to be the invention of a sad middle aged man.) To Jethro, Tuhther doesn't accept criticism very well. He's well meaning, but don't dare suggest that he's not always right! I'm glad you've brought this again to the attention of the community, and I hope that now you've aired your grievance, you'll let it drop. HOWEVER, I do want to point out to you that Somersault's Lounge is an interesting substitute for SH, and we'd be glad to have you as a regular poster here. You'll find it quieter than BC, and if you want to discuss philosophical BL issues I'm sure you'll get well reasoned responses. Of course, if you don't like it, no one will force you to stay! Unlike Tuhther, I don't try to impose editorial control on this board. There are rules (see the link at the top of the page) and the important ones will be enforced, but I'll try to do it fairly (and I often ask the opinions of the other posters before making decisions).
