...when it rains it pours. I guess the cosmic forces that dictate our daily happenings figure we need everything coming at us all at one time. I know what you mean about that ole bank balance. I thought that I had my finances figured out to the cent before my vacation...but upon coming home I found that my electric bill went up as did the gas bill....good thing that it isn't winter just now :-) Since it is summer I use less gas as I don't need to heat the house, but then I do use more electricity to cool it down. On the up side, I did make very sure that I did have the payments for the property taxes plus the home and car insurance set aside....just forgot about the license on the car that is due this August...could have sworn it was paid for two years and I still had one year to go before renewal. Oh well, that takes care of that small surplus that I thought I had for a rainy day...hehe Now all I need to do is re-figure that bank balance and work some majic and hope that I have the $2600.00 that I have to set aside for the new aluminum porch railings that I ordered two months ago. It won't be installed till early Sept as they are busy , so I have that long to make sure that I have the balance in the bank to cover the the work and materials. Will be saving a bit since I am paying cash upon completion of the work, which means no recipt and no taxes to pay. But that is what makes life interesting I guess :-) I hope that you too can work some majic to get your bank balance where you feel comfortable with the numbers.
