Updates Part 2 - Quite an eventful week

Caution - may be a long post. Tuesday night A 12yo with Dark hair bronzed skin & ankles came into the venue with his mum & gran. I greeted him with the usual "alright" (UK version of "hey"). "Do you sell talc?" said Gran, "Yeh it's down that aisle" I replied. "I'll stay here" the boy said & stood by my till. We glanced in opposite directions for a while before he said "We need it for this", at which point he revealed a painted tattoo on his arm, close to his shoulder. "Got it" said mum, "ahh" said Gran "he wanted to show him what he's done", she continued with loving trusting words. They left the venue with the usual goodbyes. Got milk? :) Later I'm putting the milk out (note), a chubby 8yo appeared "excuse me, wheres the milk" he said. I pointed. "Yeh, do you have any bottles in the back?" "Not until the morning" I replied, continuing with "2 x 1 pint is only a penny more than a 2 pint bottle". "Is is the same milk" he asked. "Yeh" I said, "Are you sure" he questioned. "I'll have to check with my mum" & he left. He did come back for it later & we exchanged smiles. Wednesday - Rattata's 14th Birthday. Went to town as usual, I gave him a tenner eqv to Us$15.00. Gran & mum left us together for the evening, while they went to bingo. I went to get a video from the store in town, he wanted a porno or American Pie 2. My pedal fell off my bike on the way, so I was not amused, but walked to the video store, signed up, but left without a movie. Rattata was sympathetic & they would've been back before we could watch the whole film anyway, so we settled down to a Bond movie on TV. (Licence to kill.) We had a heart to heart chat over a couple of beers (he's allowed to drink), he asked me about my relationship with Metro, Ginger & Teddiursa. I answered carefully, not revealing too many details. I also discussed his fight at school. He said that he was friends with the kid sometimes & was going to bring him home at the weekend before the fight & that would've given me a chance to meet him. I also talked about DX, who has settled down a bit. Ginger hangs out with Spinarak, the older brother & their cousin, smoking who knows what there & doesn't see his yf Sandshrew very often.
